Sales Director for Fortaco

As a Sales Director you are heading several key account teams. You drive a strategic account planning process, develop and execute sales and marketing plans, and you are the main contact person in Fortaco Group towards selected key customers. You develop the in-depth knowledge of operating environment, business strategies, market trends, and you build relationships with all key stakeholders. You are coordinating customer relationships in a complex manufacturing footprint between multiple Fortaco and customer locations, mainly within the European continent. You will be travelling hundreds of days per year. Your office can be located in any of Fortaco’s locations, or you can also work at home office. This is a strategic role developing and growing business relationship with our main customers.

As a Sales Director, your key responsibilities include

  • Head of Key Account Team/Teams
  • Main customer contact person within Fortaco, developing the in-depth knowledge of customer business, strategies, interfaces and relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Driving Fortaco premium value and strategic account planning processes together with all stakeholders. Target setting aligned with corporate and business site strategies.
  • Account specific pricing strategy development and implementation.
  • Directing/coordinating RFI/RFQ activity, development, and technology projects, as well as strategic sales initiatives. Act as an overall PMO leader.
  • Developing and implementing solid contractual principles based on Fortaco policies and targets.
  • Marketing the full scope of Fortaco premium offering and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Developing Fortaco Persona in all interactions.

You are reporting to Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Marcus Engman, as well as to the sales community.

Requirements
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that:

  • You have right attitude, behavior, and social skills – you are Fortaco Persona.
  • You have 10 years of experience in engineering, sourcing, supply chain and/or sales, ideally from a customer organization.
  • You have strong technical experience and relevant education.
  • You are used to incorporate with a long-term and strategic focus on day-to-day work.
  • You are experienced in co-operating successfully and working with different cultures and people on different levels of organization.
  • You have relevant industry experience, coupled with a keen interest to work within the industrial environment.
  • You are experienced in business process outsourcing.
  • You are fluent in English and Finnish, Swedish is a merit.
  • You have strong organizing, communication and problem-solving skills.
